Reflexologist in Axminster

Welcome!

Looking to take control of your well-being?

Let’s face it- today’s hectic world can be demanding and stressful! We all want to ‘have it all’, and trying to keep our work lives, family lives and social lives running in harmony can take a huge toll on our well-being and mental health, from giving us headaches, sluggish digestion, sleep issues, irritability.. the list goes on. I see you! I’ve been there!

Over the past few years in particular, there has been a rising trend in people taking more ownership of their health and seeking to supplement their well-being through complementary therapies.

This is where I step in!

About Me

Many years ago I was looking for a therapy to help me with general stress, back pain and headaches and found reflexology through my old acupuncturist who offered combined treatments. I tried foot reflexology as an extra treat one day and found it so gentle and relaxing. I then went on to specifically have foot reflexology treatments, and later face reflexology too. I felt so calm after a treatment and discovered that over time some of my symptoms were alleviating. With regular treatments my body just felt like it was working better than it had before.

I decided to learn more, and after a few years of reading and taking short courses I decided to train properly as a therapist at the London School of Reflexology under the excellent guidance of Louise Keet (Author of 'The Reflexology Bible'). After a year of training, alongside my day-job, I was delighted to gain my ITEC level 3 qualification with a merit.

The Benefits of Reflexology

There are so many benefits of this gentle and calming complementary therapy. Working alongside conventional medicine it is known to help support the symptoms of many health conditions.

The benefits of reflexology are cumulative and so stronger effects are felt if treatments are taken consistently over a period of time. In your first session we will discuss a treatment plan to suit your needs.

Benefits of reflexology include:

  • Reduced stress
  • Greater relaxation
  • Improved digestion and elimination of waste
  • Muscular aches and pains
  • Alleviation of headaches and migraines
  • Improved circulation
  • Relief from sinus issues
  • Improved sleep quality

A few of the more common conditions that can be supported through Reflexology. It is usually safe to have Reflexology alongside conventional medicine, but if you are currently having any medical treatment please speak to your GP before booking an appointment.
